I only have one companion parrot right now, a rose-breasted cockatoo (or 'galah') named Araluen… However I hope to learn more so I can one day expand my flock. Funnily enough, the next bird a really want is not a parrot at all, but I hope to get some chickens and ducks ;D

2. Items that don’t abide by our rules are not allowed to be sold. Other items not allowed to be advertised are bird eggs and unweaned babies.

3. Any used equipment must be safe for birds and any flaws from usage should be pointed out in the listing.

4. Please remember the rule regarding posting your personal information on our website and forum. You are allowed to post your email and website in your listing, but not your phone number, address, etc. If you must exchange personal information, do it via PM.

5. People buying birds from the Internet… please be careful. Some people will falsely advertise to scam you and take your money. If possible, get someone to check to see if the birds exist and the ad is real.

1. First, the picture needs to be uploaded onto the Internet. This can be done at various places for free.
One recommended website for doing this is PhotoBucket.com where you need to sign up for a free account to post photos.
Another good website is ImageShack.us where you don’t need an account to upload a photo (it is optional).

2. Once you have uploaded the photos from your computer to one of those sites, they will provide you with the picture’s link (URL). For example, the URL could be http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/9800/eclectusau9.jpg
It will start with http and end with usually either .jpg or .gif or .png.

3. Now, when posting the picture on the forum, put in the following code into your post:

 [[image URL-of-your-image]] 

For example:

 [[image http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/9800/eclectusau9.jpg]] 

4. And that’s it! You now have pictures in your post. :)
